On the 4th of July my family decided we were not interested in braving the crowds of people on post to watch the fireworks, but we still wanted to participate in the festivities. Fortunately for us, our apartment complex was close enough for us to see the show from the parking lot!
After I walked over to the field at sunset to take a few pictures of the sunflowers, we opened up the few snappers and poppers that we had purchased. There may or may not have been and all-out war between dad and sons during which mom had to bite her tongue to keep from saying, “Stop! Someone’s going to get hurt!” I am glad to say that the evening was fun and injury free…
Parker was not a huge fan of the snappers at first, but as you can tell from the following video, he warmed up nicely.
