Second stop: Memphis, TN

Our second stop was Memphis so we could visit Graceland. Matt’s parents were always big Elvis fans and one of my favorite songs ever is Blue Christmas. Here I am with his Gold Record of that song:

After touring the mansion, the car collection, and the planes, we headed on our way.

I was the only person on our trip who knew the destination. The surprise was a BLAST and I loved savoring it along the way.

All five of my boys are excited about today’s plans, which I will share with you tomorrow!

There was actually a stop in Tyler, Texas one night, between West Monroe and Killeen. There are two posts about that night, out of order. I have no idea why I didn’t catch that Killeen was our “fifth stop” as I was writing these.  Had a little on my mind…  Those two posts are Parker and some PCS Fun and I might have to eat some crow.
