“May Tuh-way-elve”

Today happens to be a pretty special day for someone.
Our little red-headed friend, Kayla, turns two today.  I can’t believe these babies are no longer sitting in infant carriers just enjoying being snuggly.

All three are active and on the move, but none more than Kayla.  She is never still, likes to talk, run, walk, read, see things, ask questions, tell you things, and needs much less sleep than Parker does.

She may be the smartest two year old I’ve ever met.

Still teeny-tiny in weight, she’s very tall and towers over Parker.  (She and Connor are about the same height, so maybe it’s not that they’re tall as much as that Parker is short.) Bailey remembers going to see Kayla in the hospital when she was born and referring to her as the baby with the small head.

Kayla’s laugh is definitely girly and infectious.  She has stolen Parker’s heart and he asks for her every morning as well as after every nap.

Here are a few pictures of our friend, “Kah-lah.”

"Yes, they're all mine." The answer to the question I hear most often.
